Elocon is indicated for the relief of manifestations such as inflammation and itching, caused by certain inflammatory skin disorders, such as psoriasis (except for extensive plaque psoriasis), atopic dermatitis, irritant dermatitis and/or contact allergies. It is used by applying a thin layer of the cream/ointment covering the affected area once a day.
